Nick Blum is a seasoned technical leader in manufacturing analytics with a strong background in engineering and data analytics and over 12 years of industry experience. He holds a B.S. in Materials Science Engineering from the University of Minnesota and an M.E. in Engineering Data Analytics from the University of Wisconsin. In his current role at 3M, he’s focused on defining and executing an analytics maturity roadmap across the global manufacturing enterprise. His teams work involves establishing foundational data, deploying standard tools and performance metrics, and developing innovative diagnostic and predictive solutions to improve operational efficiency. Nick is proficient in advanced analytics tools, Six Sigma certified, and experienced in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
